As autumn gilded the yew trees surrounding Daliao, a so called Daliao Fever was formed and brought increasing numbers of hikers as well as garbage there. Yesterday afternoon, Guangtai Property Management Company sent a 50-person voluntary team to clean up the trash left by hikers, including cigarette butts, used tissues, plastic bags and bottles. In just a few hours, the collected trash filled up 3 trucks. Daliao is located in the core region of Changjiang Reservoir, thus an important source of drinking water for people living in Zhongshan.
