The Union Committee of Zhongshan Municipal Government proposed on the second Wednesday each month starting from May 11 as Low-carbon Travel Day for workers of Zhongshan Municipal Government and its departments to usher a low carbon lifestyle. Instead, these workers are encouraged to commute, share cars, cycle or walk to work.
