A joint research group of Zhongshan Bureau of Ecology and Environment and Zhongshan Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently visited West District to investigate the construction of collective aquaculture parks and supervise the environmental safety during the flood season.

The research group visited Daoxiangwei in Longping Community, West District to learn more about the Daoxiangwei aquacultural pond renovation project and the progress, quality and environmental safety of the wastewater treatment project during the flood season.

The Daoxiangwei Agriculture Green Island project, the first collective aquaculture park in Zhongshan, started construction at the beginning of this year.

Zhongshan Bureau of Ecology and Environment and Zhongshan Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs are making joint efforts to promote the eco-friendly aquaculture and wastewater treatment practices by developing collective industrial parks, to achieve both eco-friendly development of Zhongshan's aquaculture industries and improve its water environment. Collective aquaculture parks will also be built in other areas of Zhongshan.
