Zhongshan Daily –Qijiang Park won the unique Highest Honor at the 22nd International Urban Waterfront Design in 2008.
The 26th International Urban Waterfront Conference was held in Chicago on November 21, 2008 and the Waterfront Center announced Qijing Park of Zhongshan city won the Highest Honor, which is given once a year by World Waterfront Center in hopes of encouraging people to wisely use their waterfront resources.
