This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Spain, as well as the 20th anniversary of the establishment of sister relations between Guangdong and Catalonia. "Going Into Europe Zhongshan-Spain Festival" is scheduled to be held in Zhongshan in the coming August.
The "Encuentro con el Prado" exhibition, one of the activities of the festival, will take place at Zhongshan Museum.

Twenty-nine most representative works selected from Spain's Museo Nacional del Prado's collection will be on show. These exhibits were all reproduced in full size of the original paintings, so that visitors can appreciate the museum's collection and enjoy a cultural feast without traveling overseas.
