During the Mid-Autumn Day holiday and the National Day holiday, 800 recreational activities are to be held in Zhongshan. The activities will not only be held in the districts and towns, but also in the variety of communities and villages concerned. At the moment, these activities are well under way in the downtown area and the 24 districts and towns.

Some activities in districts and towns:
The cultural centers of the 24 districts and towns are to be summoned to participate in “Delivering Plays and Films in the villages”. A large number of local art performances and excellent films made in China are to be delivered to the culture plazas in communities and villages.
The Culture and Art Festival of the Eastern District in 2010”, the 7th Art Performances of Communities, and the 19th Contest of Songs and Dances entitled “We all are constructing the Eastern District”, are to be held in this district.
From Sep. 25th to Sep. 30th, the third “Baoyuejia Cup” Singing Contest is to be held in Xiaolan.
From Sep. 28th to Oct. 8th, the Exhibition of Calligraphy and Paintings during the National Day holiday, 2010, is to be held in Guzhen town. On Oct. 1st, a rock and roll concert is to be held and from Oct. 2nd to 10th, singing activities by the masses on the plaza is to be held.
On Sep. 30th, a chorus contest is to be held in Nanlang town.
It is estimated that more than 700 recreational activities are to be held during the National Day holiday.
