Deputy Mayor Yin Zhaoju is having morning tea with more than 200 so-called empty-nest elderly in Prince Restaurant to celebrate the Double Ninth Festival. At present, volunteers in Zhongshan have provided services of family accompany and daily life care for 300 empty-nest elderly in urban areas.

A feast to respect the old was held in Min’an village of Nantou town on the evening of 16th and 950 old people fully enjoyed themselves through drinking, feasting and watching performances.

Zhongshan Yinling Dance Troupe put on wonderful performances for the old people in Huayile Home for the Aged on 16th. The eldest member in the troupe aged 72 and the youngest one 53 with an average age of 62 years old.
