A total of 138 households with low income and minimum living standards move to new houses before the Spring Festival, which is an important job that Zhongshan Government has done to aid the people in difficulty.

According to the statistics of Relief Department of Zhongshan Civil Affairs Bureau, the 138 households have been incorporated in the renovation and reconstruction plan of dilapidated buildings, covering 17 towns such as Minzhong and Gangkou. The reconstructed house is built based on the standard of 35 square meters for 1 person, 45 for 2, 55 for 3, and 65 for 4 and beyond. From 2004 to 2016, the dilapidated houses of 3268 families have been renovated.
