The issuing ceremony of commemorative stamps on 150th Anniversary of the Birth of Sun Yats-sen was grandly held in the Memorial Hall of the Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen on 13th November. The stamp exhibition was opened at the same time. 
With a denomination of 5.40 yuan, the commemorative stamps include four stamps with pictures of the memorial hall of the former residence of Sun Yat-sen, Sun Yat-sen’s bronze sculpture, Zhongshan park and hall and Sun Yat-sen Memorial Secondary School. The stamps are designed by the Professor of Qinghua University Wu Guanying, who is a local Zhongshan person and the designer of the mascot Fu Wa of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
