The awarding ceremony of Report Literature Award for Chinese Writers (Guzhen Cup) was held on 22nd October and the work Chinese Lighting Town-A China Story to Shock the World written by Zhongshan writers Zheng Wanli and Chen Hengcai won the “annual best” due to its comprehensive illustration of Guzhen’s great development and success by conforming to rapid changes of time and society.

It can be regarded as a legend for Guzhen to develop from an unknown rural town into the largest lighting manufacturing and sales base with its unique culture of exploration. The authors introduced the history and achievements the local people created and made through many typical people and stories to further reflect the charm and essence of Chinese dream.
