Xue Xiaofeng welcomed Sun Guoxiong's second home visit. Xue said that Mr. Sun Guoxiong, who is emotionally attached to his hometown, has been concerning about and supporting the construction of Zhongshan City. Mr. Sun Guoxiong's behavior interprets Mr. Sun Yat-sen's great idea of "All under heaven are equal and rejuvenating China". Xue Xiaofeng expressed that 2016 marks the 150th birthday of Mr. Sun Yat-sen. Governments from central to local levels attach great importance to this event. Grand commemorative activities will be held. A steering group has been organized in Zhongshan, the hometown of Mr. Sun Yat-sen, to arrange theme activities. 

Sun Guoxiong introduced ideas of descendants of Mr. Sun Yat-sen about the commemorative activities. He expressed that Zhongshan and Honolulu are sister cities, and Guangdong Province and Hawaii are sister province and state. He hoped that the commemorative activities can strengthen the economic ties between the two areas.
