The 90th anniversary of the death of Sun Yat-sen and Liao Zhongkai was jointly held from Apr. 22 to 24 by Zhongshan Federation of Social Sciences, Huizhou Federation of Social Sciences, and Zhongkai College of Agriculture and Engineering (Guangzhou). Commemoration activities are held in Zhongshan, Guangzhou, and Huizhou. An exhibition of historical pictures and a seminar on Sun Yat-sen and Liao Zhongkai were held yesterday at the Former Residence of Sun Yat-sen. More than 50 experts from all over the country participated in the seminar. Tang Ying, Director of the Propaganda Department of Zhongshan Party Committee, attended the activity.

The commemoration activity has rich contents. The pictorial exhibition exhibits the struggle of Liao Zhongkai and his wife He Xiangning, and the revolutionary friendship between their family and the family of Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching-ling. Wang Xiao, Party Secretary of Guangdong Federation of Social Sciences, and other experts visited the exhibition. Representatives from Zhongshan signed a cooperation agreement with Zhongkai College of Agriculture and Engineering.
