Burnaby councilor, International Relations Committee vice chairman James Wang led a delegation to visit Zhongshan on the afternoon of the 13th. Vice Mayor Yang Wenlong met with the delegation. As an international sister city of Zhongshan, Burnaby intends to build a bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen and the project is scheduled to be complete in this August. James Wang sincerely invited a Zhongshan delegation to attend the completion ceremony. 
Zhongshan and Burnaby become sister cities in 2011. During the meeting yesterday afternoon, Councilor James Wang who is of a Chinese descent, introduced that a bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen will be built in Burnaby according to the plan, and that the plan will be complete in this August. He invited a Zhongshan delegation to attend the relevant activities.
