Hosted by Zhongshan Foreign Affairs Bureau (Hong Kong and Macao affairs office), the 2013 Singapore Zhongshan Association Youth Seminar is held in Zhongshan from 18th to 22nd December. 19 overseas Chinese youth take part in lessons and various activities with a theme of hometown love and culture to feel unique charm of Chinese Culture, get to know the hometown construction, enhance culture ascription of new generations of overseas Chinese and enforce the executive and cohesive force of young overseas Chinese.

According to Xu Guowei, the honorary president of Singapore-Zhongshan Association, the successful host of the seminar will be beneficial for overseas young Chinese to learn more about their hometown and the great man’s spirit, enhance cohesion among young people and find their sense of belonging of Chinese culture.
