The 3rd Cross-Straits Zhongshan Forum is to be held on Nov.17-19 after the first two were successfully held in 2010 and 2013. A total of 650 delegates, 350 from the mainland and 300 from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and abroad, will attend the event.

To celebrate the 150th birthday of Sun Yat-sen, the forum promotes Sun Yat-sen Spirit to fight for the full national unification and sovereign integrity and calls for co-operation in all aspects to create a favorable environment for the peaceful development of cross-Straits relations. It is of especially great significance at a time when pro-independence campaigns are being organized on the island.
