2011 is the centenary of China’s 1911 Revolution and the 73rd anniversary of the warship’s martyrdom at Jinkou. Zhongshan will join hands with Wuhan Museum to hold Exhibition of Cultural Relics Commemorating the Centenary of the 1911 Revolution and Salvaged Relics from Zhongshan Ship.

Yesterday morning, a staff member of Zhongshan Museum removed the 26-meter-long model of Zhongshan Ship into the warehouse. About 60 salvaged Zhongshan Warship relics collected at Zhongshan Warship Museum in Wuhan and 100 1911 Revolution relics collected by Wuhan’s well-known collectors traveled a long way to Zhongshan. All the precious relics will be put on display from May 1 to May 20.
