A grand press conference was held for the first broadcast of the TV series Xiananyang (To South East Asia). Director Shen Haofang, together with the Actress Tong Lei, Actors Zhong Mo and Yuan Hua attended the conference.

As one of the key TV series to be broadcast on the TV channel of CCTV, Xiananyang shot some of the scenes in CCTV Zhongshan Movie Studio. The theme song was written by Qiu Shuhong, renowned poet in Zhongshan, and sung by famous singer Tan Jing.
