Inheritance base of Yakou Piaose in Nanlang Town unveiled yesterday

June 17th, 2010 (May 6th in Chinese lunar calendar) is the birthday of Dragon King in folklore when inheritance base of Yakou Piaose in Nanlang Town was also unveiled on the same day. 

Piaose players dressed brightly were ready for performance on Fitness Square of Yakou Village. The 30m-long huge “dragon” is the last but best performer whose head is made of bamboo while the bones and scale of paper boards piece by piece, larger and heavier than usual. 

To protect intangible inheritance, Zhongshan has established intangible inheritance bases in Sanxiang Town, Tanzhou Town, Western District, Sanjiao Town, Nanlang Town, etc.
