The 8th Zhongshan Reading Month opens today and will last for more than one month. This session of reading month continues to take “Happy Reading and Harmonious Life” as the theme and have over 300 programs. The prize-awarding night will be held on May 30th. 
24 towns of Zhongshan all take part in the 8th Reading Month activities. The contents include eleven parts: “general mobility for reading—the opening ceremony of the 8th Zhongshan Reading Month”, “happy reading throughout Zhongshan”, “forums, lectures, exhibitions on happy reading”, “happy reading in governmental organs”, “happy reading in schools ”, “happy reading in enterprises”, “happy reading in communities and villages”, “happy reading in families”, “happy reading in colleges”, “happy reading in towns”, “classic recitation and awarding evening”, etc.
