The First Zhongshan Book Fair, which will last for 5 days, opened at Zhongshan Stadium on the morning of 25th. More than 100,000 kinds of books, including best-selling new books, bargain books and valuable collection books attracted tens of thousands of citizens. This fair is an important activity to build Zhongshan a Culturally Famous City.

On the first day of the fair, nearly 40,000 people visited the fair despite the hot weather. Yesterday morning, around one thousand people lined up in queue before the opening time. Lots of readers and book lovers from Hong Kong, Zhuhai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen City also came to the fair. The number of people attending the fair on the second day reached 63,000, far more than that of the first day.
