Zhongshan seeks to host World Choir Games to celebrate 100th Anniversary of 1911 Revolution

Gunter Titsch, President of Interkulter, headed a delegation to come to Zhongshan for inspection yesterday. Qiu Shuhong, Director General of Zhongshan Publicity Department, exchanged views with Gunter on project cooperation. Qiu hoped that Zhongshan would have the opportunity to host World Choir Games on the 100th Anniversary of 1911 Revolution.

Qiu Shuhong introduced Zhongshan’s culture, especially music which is developing rapidly. He expected Zhongshan music would go abroad and demonstrate to the world the unique salty water folk song.

Gunter also expressed the hope for more interaction and cooperation with China. He noticed Zhongshan’s urge for cultural achievement along with economic development, and he would be happy to see people across the world chorus their pray for world peace in Zhongshan.
