Experts of the evaluation group of national historical and cultural city paid a visit to Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s former residence, Congshan Fang, Sunwen Western Road and Xishan Temple yesterday.

Experts greatly appreciated the traditional folk mansion in Congshan Fang. This private mansion was built in late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, displaying unique techniques in its architectural style, sewage system and security measures. Meanwhile, some traditional buildings retained an original Southern China style, attracting experts’ eyes. In addition, they also visited other 18 historic places in Shiqi District, Western District, Southern District and Nanlang Town.
