The Guangdong Chinese Tunic Suit Inheritance, Innovative Development and Revitalization Base and CNTAC Intangible Cultural Heritage Office Guangdong Station's Chinese Tunic Suit Cultural Research Base were both unveiled in the Chinese Tunic Suit Cultural Center on the afternoon of January 27.
The two bases will play an all-round role in promoting the development of Chinese tunic suit products, industrial building, process manufacturing and training of industrial skilled workers. They will also further study and explore Sun Yat-sen Culture.
"Last year, Zhongshan issued group standards, which stipulated the definition, production quality requirements and technical specifications for the industrial production process of Chinese tunic suits. The two bases are founded for the coordination with relevant departments to apply for the Chinese Tunic Suit Culture to be an intangible part of our cultural heritage," Said Liu Xuan, director of the Chinese Tunic Suit Cultural Center.
The Chinese tunic suit is a Chinese costume created and promoted by Dr Sun Yat-sen. In 2017, the Chinese Tunic Suit Cultural Center was set up in Zhongshan to carry forward the Chinese Tunic Suit Culture.
