The opening ceremony of "Zhongshan's Prime Years" – Image Exhibition on Zhongshan's Centenary History was held in Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library's Fancheng Hall on the morning of June 28.
There are four sections in the exhibition: War Years, Early Development, Reform and Opening-up Period, and Prosperous Times, showing us the achievements of Zhongshan in different periods in such areas as urban and rural development, transportation infrastructure, industry, social governance, people's livelihood, environmental protection, culture, education, sports and health, and etc.
Three realistic displays, "Nanhu Red BoatShip", "Qijiang Bridge" and "Don't Look Back", have been specially set up to bring the audience back to war times, Zhongshan's early development, and the initial stage of the reform and opening-up period.
The exhibition is free to the public (working hours are the same as Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library; closed on Mondays). Citizens can make reservations and visit the exhibition at the library with a valid ID card. In accordance with relevant epidemic prevention and control procedures, the maximum number of concurrent visitors in the library is 50.
