New progress has been made in the construction of Cuiheng Station. On July 20, the relocation of the Cuiheng Station overhead line system was completed. In the next stage, the project area will be further expanded and is expected to be completed as planned before National Day.

"Two of the three high-risk operations in the whole project have been completed," said Xiong Shenghai, the supervisor of the construction unit, adding that in the early morning of July 16, after the 12 consecutive nights of continuous hard work, the relocation of the overhead line system for Cuiheng Station was finished. There are three high-risk operations in the whole project, namely, platform flange plate construction, overhead line system relocation and platform canopy hoisting.

The surrounding road network should be improved before Cuiheng Station is put into use. The head of the Zhongshan Bureau of Transport said that ancillary municipal roads in and out of Cuiheng Station undertaken by Nanlang Town is under construction.

The 7-meter-wide road project for Cuiheng Statio of Guangzhou–Zhuhai Mass Rapid Transit is now in the bidding stage. According to the bid details, the municipal road is about 150 meters long, and it will cost 1 million yuan.
