After the Spring Festival holiday, construction on Weilai Avenue, the west section of Hexin Road and Hexiu Road in the eastern area of Tsuihang New District (Ma'an Island) has resumed. Tsuihang New District also plans to start the construction of municipal road networks in such key areas as the Techfin New Town and passenger port as well as Wugui Road and others. In addition, the north section of Xianghai Road, also known as "Zhongshan's Lovers Avenue" in the western area (Nanlang Town) is also scheduled to start construction this year.

Hexin Road is a municipal road running east-west through the eastern Tsuihang New District. The east section has already opened to traffic. According to a spokesperson from the Tsuihang New District Engineering Project Construction Service Center, the west section of Hexin Road has been under construction since the end of 2020 and is close to completion. The construction team is now working on the installation of streetlamps and greening facilities. The road is expected to fully open to traffic in May this year.
