In the early morning of January 18, "AVIC 913" and the other 9 ships, loaded with more than 1,100 standard shipping containers, left Xiaolan Port under the supervision of officers from Zhongshan Port Customs and set sail to all parts of the world.

"Many goods need to be cleared before the Spring Festival. Customs services such as 'deferred clearance' let us feel at ease," said Wu Chaojia, customs supervisor of TCL Air Conditioner (Zhongshan) Co Ltd. More than 33,000 air conditioners were exported by the company that evening.

Before the Spring Festival, foreign trade enterprises rush to export goods, greatly increasing the pressure of loading and unloading containers at the docks. Zhongshan Port Customs respond quickly by analyzing the export needs of enterprises in advance, promoting such clearance services as "advance declaration" and "direct loading" for exported goods and providing such services as "reserved clearance" and "deferred clearance" to ensure the smooth export and delivery of goods arriving in the port during non-working hours before the Spring Festival.
