In the next five years, Zhongshan will invest at least 5 billion yuan to promote the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry.

The Zhongshan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology is working on the detailed policies, which include plans to build high-end digital industrial parks, introduce and develop one to two benchmarking online industrial internet and digital platforms, and to facilitate the use of online platforms for 1,000 small- and medium-sized enterprises within the next five years.

At the same time, Zhongshan will subsidize enterprises to build model digital, intelligent plants and workshops so as to create a number of benchmarking enterprises, and promote technological transformation in over 700 industrial enterprises.

In addition, the ZSBIIT also plans to implement the "One Policy for One Enterprise" campaign to support the further development of leading enterprises. Customized supporting policies will be provided to a group of competitive, promising enterprises with the willingness to develop faster so as to build them into 50-billion-yuan- and 100-billion-yuan-level flagship enterprises.
