The per capita disposable income of urban residents was 60,323 yuan, up 10.2%, or 9.0% after adjusting for inflation, with an average increase of 7.2% over the last two years, while that of rural residents was 41,750 yuan, up 10.9%, or 9.7% after adjusting for inflation, with an average increase of 9.0% over the last two years. The urban-rural income ratio in Zhongshan has been reduced to 1.44, which has been the lowest in Guangdong Province for many years.
