The Zhongshan Taxation Bureau has launched the Zhongshan Tax Service Operation Center to provide intensive online tax processing in Zhongshan.

"It is more convenient now to handle business through the electronic tax service platform. We can receive an acceptance message on our mobile phones in less than 3 minutes after submitting an application. It saves us much more time." Mr Liao, a tax agent of Cassiey Biological (Guangdong) Technology Co Ltd, said.

Since last September, the Zhongshan Tax Service Operation Center has been put into trial operation in some grass-roots tax authorities in Zhongshan. In the first week since fully implementing the Tax Center this March, the per capita accepted business volume jumped to 3.4 times that of in the first phase of trial operation, and the average processing time for a single item of business was reduced to less than half an hour.
