Zhongshan Intermediate People's Court recently held an auction for two factories and the supporting facilities in Jiangweitou Village, Torch Development Zone, which opened at 142.1 million yuan. After 52 bids, the factories were sold to a bidder from Shenzhen at a price of 185.1 million yuan, with a premium of 43 million yuan.

The auction set a new high in the physical transaction value of a Zhongshan Court online judicial auction relative to recent years.

Before the auction, the third party agency introduced the factories to bidders from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao and received nearly 30 participants.

The bid-winner indicated that the factories would be used for the relocation of its business in Shenzhen. Once successfully relocated, the business will contribute to the regional development on both sides of the Pearl River Delta and contribute to Zhongshan's business environment.
