From June 13 to 21, the Guangdong Armed Police conducted an eight-day drill on the operation of assault boats and water rescue in the waters of Zhongshan, aiming to improve the awareness of flood prevention measures and flood fighting preparation, exercise the emergency response ability of the emergency response team, and test the flood prevention and emergency response mechanisms.

The drills combined with lifelike rescue operations and focused on rapid loading and unloading of the assault boats, driving and landing, marching, water obstacles avoidance training, water rescue, and other subjects as well as the daily maintenance of assault boats, common trouble shooting, and other training.
