The 2nd Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition for International Returned Overseas Chinese Talents was launched in Nanlang Youth Business Incubator on September 20.

The competition is open to overseas Chinese youth who are interested in innovation and entrepreneurship. Honing in on guidance and cultivation, the competition will empower and accelerate the participating projects under the following aspects:

1. The competition seeks to strengthen innovation-driven development in such strategic emerging industries as biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing and next-generation information technology. A system consisting of three major funds, eight innovation and entrepreneurship bases in Guangdong, eight well-known mentors, six financing roadshows and many more municipal-level investment and talent introduction policies are ready to create a brand-new incubation platform for innovation projects of returned overseas Chinese talent.

2. The creators of all participating projects can communicate directly with the National Fund for Technology Transfer and Commercialization, Zhongguancun Private Equity & Venture Capital Association and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fund for Overseas Chinese Youth through roadshows and investment meetings during the competition.
