The 2022 Zhongshan Rural Artisan and Chef Assessment Competition was held on November 13. In addition to the previously recognized horticulture and Cantonese cured meat processing specialist categories assessed last year, another three specialties - aquaculture, cooking and housekeeping - are added to further strengthen the building of rural professional teams in Zhongshan.
This was the first competition since Zhongshan began the assessment of the recently added categories. The results will more directly reflect the professional competence and actual ability of the participants through on-site, video, picture and other diversified evaluation methods, promoting the development of the restaurant industry, boost rural rejuvenation, and encourage more candidates for the "Cantonese Cuisine Chef" program.
