On the morning of February 1, via video link, Zhongshang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese (ZFROC) met online with nearly 50 overseas Chinese leaders, overseas Chinese businessmen and overseas Chinese compatriots of 10 overseas Chinese groups from countries and regions including the US, Mexico and Chile.

The "online meeting" is intended to extend Chinese New Year greetings to overseas Chinese leaders, overseas Chinese businessmen and overseas Chinese compatriots and make them experience the great passion and vitality of their hometown in pursuing high-quality development, according to an official of ZFROC. He hoped they would continue to support and participate Zhongshan's brand events organized by ZFROC, tell the good stories of Zhongshan, and become spokespersons for the city in the new era.
