Last year, Mr Wu's son went to Australia for study, and for over a year he could not reunite with his family. Upon learning that he could apply for an Australian visa, Mr Wu immediately went to the Jucheng Notary Office in Xiaolan to seek advice on the requirements of notarization. After taking on the case, the notary specially opened a green channel and completed the notarization for Mr Wu.
From January to August this year, notary organizations across the city have handled 8,322 foreign-related notarization cases, up 50.24% year-on-year, covering more than 20 countries and regions around the world.
In June this year, the Shiqi and Xiangshan notary offices became qualified for overseas remote video notarization. They upgraded service procedure effectively fulfills overseas Chinese citizens' needs in terms of notarization.
