In 2020, the municipal government regulations to be reviewed are "Zhongshan Municipal Domestic Waste Classification Management Measures" and "Zhongshan Municipal Urban and Rural Construction Archives Management Measures (Revised)".

Domestic waste classification has become a key priority of local governments. Relevant officials of Zhongshan Urban Management And Law Enforcement said that Zhongshan issued the "Zhongshan Municipal Measures for Promoting Compulsory Classification of Domestic Waste" in 2017. In order to establish and improve the city's domestic waste classification management system as soon as possible, actions to effectively promote domestic waste classification management, and the execution of relevant local legislation are in line with the current needs of Zhongshan.

Meanwhile, the revision of "Zhongshan Urban and Rural Construction Archives Management Measures" needs to be engaged with the upper-level law and meet the requirements of the city's institutional reform.

This year, the legislative research projects of the municipal government are "Zhongshan Municipal Regulations on Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste", "Zhongshan Municipal Measures on Food Waste Management", "Zhongshan Municipal Measures on Government Services Management", "Zhongshan Municipal Measures on Waterway Management", and "Zhongshan Municipal Measures on Management of Certification Matters".
