Welcome to Zhongshan, the beautiful hometown of Sun Yat-sen and a city of fraternity. First of all, we would like to take this opportunity to send our sincere greetings and express our heartfelt thanks to all the foreign friends who have always cared about and supported Zhongshan.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the nation has made initial achievements by making concerted efforts to overcome the difficulties. The international community highly appreciates China's capability of preventing and controlling the epidemic. Zhongshan is an open and inclusive city. Here, we will provide our foreign friends with a better living environment and better health services.

1. No need to worry about language barrier. While you stay in Zhongshan, you may fear that you may run into some difficulties or problems due to prevention and control of the epidemic, to which you cannot get effective solution because of language barrier. Don't worry. We have opened 24-hour service hotlines of foreign languages (English: 0760-88306313; Japanese: 0760-88339093; Korean: 13824728869；Spanish: 0760-89980392), plus the hotlines opened by the towns/districts in Zhongshan for foreigners (attached in the table hereto). We will answer any and all questions you may have in relation to our measures for prevention and control of the epidemic, medical services, control over entry and exit, and visa application, etc.
   
   

2. No need to worry about access to information. You may fear that all information released in relation to the epidemic is in Chinese, and that you might have difficulty reading it. Don't worry. In order for your timely access to our latest measures for prevention and control of the epidemic and tips on personal protection, we have released information in English, Japanese, Korean and Spanish on the official WeChat accounts of "Zhongshan Foreign Affairs (ZSFA)" and "Foreigner Advisory Council in Zhongshan (ZSFAC)" as well as the website of "Zhongshan Foreign Affairs Bureau". You are welcome to keep yourself up to date via these channels.
   
   

3. No need to worry about door-to-door services. To provide you and your family with targeted and comprehensive health services, our community workers will visit you to learn about your recent travel and health conditions. We hope that you can cooperate and will do our best to protect your privacy.
   
   

4. No need to worry about health test. We care about the health of you and your family. If you have come to our city recently from outside the country, province, or city, been in contact with anyone from any country or region seriously hit by the epidemic or you feel unwell, you can contact the staff speaking foreign language in your local town/district or scan the following QR code to apply for a free nucleic acid test.
