Full-time undergraduates (with domestic academic qualifications or foreign academic degrees) within 5 years after graduation (after June 2015), who have been working in one of Zhongshan's non-public enterprises (including public institutions that implement enterprise-style management, market-oriented operations, or operate with non-finance-related funds) for at least one year and have settled in Zhongshan, will receive a one-time government subsidy of 10,000 yuan per person.
At present, feedback and opinions on the related detailed rules for the implementation of the policy are being solicited.
People in the following situations can also apply for the subsidy: locally registered people who had worked in Zhongshan within 5 years after graduation, and then returned to work in a non-public enterprise for one year after leaving Zhongshan; those who did not transfer their hukou (household registration) with them when they went to colleges in other cities, or those who transferred their hukou with them, but moved back to Zhongshan after graduation, and have worked in Zhongshan's non-public enterprises for at least one consecutive year.
The new policy is to be implemented starting on March 27, 2020, and will be valid for 5 years.
Subsidies will be granted in batches. In 2021, Zhonghan will grant subsidies to those who graduated from college in 2015.
