Zhongshan continues to provide free NAT service
2022-07-20

Zhongshan will continue to provide free nucleic acid testing service and citizens can receive free tests at sampling sites or public hospitals nearby, said the announcement issued on July 17.

People coming or returning to Zhongshan from other provinces and cities affected by the epidemic should take relevant health management measures; and for those not required to stay at home for health monitoring, it is suggested to have one nucleic acid test taken immediately upon arriving at Zhongshan, as well as a follow-up test within three days. Residents who have contact with people from other provinces and cities affected by the epidemic should also take a nucleic acid test in time.

If you have any of these ten COVID-19 symptoms including fever, dry cough, fatigue, hyposmia, hypogeusia, nasal obstruction, runny nose, sore throat, conjunctivitis, myalgia and diarrhea, please go to a fever clinic for treatment immediately. People with a yellow health code should go to specially designated areas in a local hospital for NATs or contact the community you stay in to have nucleic acid sampling. People with a red health code should report to your community immediately, cooperate with the workers, go through self-quarantine at home, and avoid contact with others during the quarantine period.

Every one should wear masks, keep a distance of 1 meter from others, and avoid chatting and gathering during the testing. Those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine within 48 hours are not permitted to undergo nucleic acid testing.
