A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held for the second batch of industrial park renovation projects this year in Sanjiao Town. The seven projects involve a total investment of 1.3 billion yuan.

Five projects, invested by Deme Bathroom Accessory Co, Yubei Paint Co, Dongtai Dyeing Industry (Zhongshan) Co, Huahang Hardware Electroplating Co and Yuanying Technology Co respectively, started construction. With a preliminary planned investment of 527 million yuan, they cover a total land area of 132.9 mu and have a proposed building area of 250,300 square meters.

Among them, the Deme industrial park will generate an annual output value of over 400 million yuan, an annual tax revenue of over 20 million yuan, and create 2,000 jobs after renovation. The Dongtai Dyeing project is expected to achieve an annual output value of 200 million yuan, an annual tax revenue of 10 million yuan, and create 200 jobs.

Two projects started the demolition of old factory buildings. Invested by Well Dyeing Factory Limited and Zhongshan QLT, they cover a total land area of 468.2 mu. Some 780 million yuan will be invested to construct 369,600 square meters of new buildings.
