In celebration of the 2023 Chinese Farmers Harvest Festival, Zhongshan launched a campaign on September 22 in Minzhong District, with sub-venues in multiple towns and sub-districts. A series of celebration activities will be carried out across the city to foster a strong harvest atmosphere.

During the opening ceremony in Minzhong District, a video on the bumper harvest was played, National Eco-farm title winners and municipal leading agricultural enterprises were unveiled, and awards were presented to the outstanding aquatic product brands. Additionally, a project signing ceremony was held between research institutions and towns and districts.

On the same day, Minzhong District hosted a series of activities, including a three-man canoe race, a water town delicacy banquet, and a fireworks and food carnival.

In the coming days, Minzhong District will organize concerts, water sports games, the opening of granaries, among other activities.

Special sports events, food festivals, lawn concerts, rice field concerts and village basketball competitions will take place in Huangpu, Shenwan, Dongfeng, Sanjiao and other towns and districts.
