Phase 1 of the Diandian Technology Innovation project in Banfu Town was topped out on the morning of November 13, and the construction started on Phase 2. 

An investment promotion meeting for the project was held on the same day. Ten enterprises signed contracts to move in Diandian Technology Innovation, including Zhongshan Yuansen Precision Bearing Co and Zhongshan CIH Electrical Manufacturer CO. The CZBank Foshan Branch has handed over a credit check of 1 billion yuan to support the Diandian Technology Innovation project.

"Later, Diandian Technology Innovation will also offer service platforms tailored to the needs of companies in terms of production, research and development, sales, exhibition, logistics and supply chain, capital finance, and etc," said Shi Junkai, vice president of Diandian Technology Innovation Co, adding that the park will include several special areas: the intelligent assembly and mobile house industry agglomeration area, the automotive aftermarket demonstration area, the intelligent small household appliances industry development area, and the innovation and entrepreneurship area for top talent in the degradable biomaterials field. It will become a competitive, influential industrial base for the research, development and incubation of intelligent manufacturing within the Greater Bay Area.

Covering a land area of 285 mu, Diandian Technology Innovation has a total investment exceeding 2 billion yuan. Upon completion, its output value can reach 10 billion yuan at full capacity. Currently, more than 60 innovative sci-tech enterprises have showed intent of moving in the park.
