With a total investment of 500 million yuan, the Zhongbao New Energy (Zhongshan) Storage System Production Base started construction on an industrial land parcel to south of the Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on November 18.

Dejiu Solar, the investor of the project, is an enterprise engaged in the R&D, production, sales and related services of solar PV products such as photovoltaic modules and energy storage equipment. The project covering a land area of about 35 mu can achieve an annual output value of one billion yuan. It will include a photovoltaic module factory with an annual output of eight million watts, and a lithium battery intelligent energy storage equipment manufacturing factory with an annual output of 1 GWh.

This is the third key project that starts construction this year on the same land parcel. Previous projects included the Sover headquarters and manufacturing base, with an investment of 310 million yuan, and the Cloud Butterfly Technology Park, with an investment of 300 million yuan. These three projects cover a total land area of 120 mu.
