The 3rd Zhongshan Vocational Skills Competition and the 2023 "Xiangshan Craftsman Cup" Rosewood Carving Contest concluded on November 30 at the Chinese Rosewood Culture Expo City in Zhongshan's Dachong Town.

Winners of first, second, third and outstanding prizes were awarded. Zhang Xiaohua from Guofang Furniture Co and Wang Xinmin from Hongguxuan Furniture Co won the first prizes.

The Dachong Rosewood Industry Talent Center, also the Zhongshan International Talent Hub Rosewood Industry Service Center, was inaugurated at the ceremony.

The talent center, located on the first floor of the north square of the Chinese Rosewood Culture Expo City, showcases the development history of Dachong's rosewood industry since the 1970s, works of six outstanding rosewood carving craftsmen, talent-related policies and achievements, and etc. It aims to provide full-process services and all-aroundsupport for talent, and to organize salons, exchange activities, and achievement exhibitions on a regular basis.
