The asphalt footpath is beautifully painted, the river banks are lined with trees; birds and butterflies pass by the water from time to time, and flowers can be seen along the way... The Beikeng Eco-greenway in Longshi Village, funded by Wuguishan District with about 5 million yuan, has recently opened to the public.

The 1.3-km greenway is located at the foot of Dajian Mountain in the Shigu area. It directly leads to the Dajian Mountain Forest Park from the entrance of Beikeng Village. On both sides of the greenway, well-arranged houses, lush mountains and forests, and tranquil flood discharge channels present an excellent ecological natural landscape.

"In addition to swings, stone benches and other facilities and newly paved asphalt roads, we also plan a new parking lot and have installed lighting systems and others. The greening work on both sides of the river is nearing completion," said Chen Fengyan, an official of Longshi Village.
