More than 1,000 Li's clansmen returned to Longshi Xundi Village from around the world on January 20 to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Li's Ancestral Temple.

To protect the ancestral temple architecture and preserve fellow villagers' nostalgia and legacy, Wuguishan District has invested 4 million yuan to renovate the Li's Ancestral Temple and its surrounding environment.

In July 2023, the construction team started the renovation, including rebuilding the roof, adding gray tiles, reinforcing wooden components and replacing decayed wood rafters. The renovation had been completed by the end of 2023.
