The 30th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair (GILF) kicked off on March 18. Some 3,300 lighting enterprises, bringing along with tens of thousands of new products, and more than 200,000 professional buyers and visitors are expected to join the event in Zhongshan's Guzhen Town.

The Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center serves as the main venue for the fair, featuring over 900 exhibitors. By noon on March 14, up to 65,000 people had signed up for the event at main venue, including over 2,200 from 132 countries and regions around the globe.

Sub venues are set up at the Lihe Lighting Expo Center, Huayi Plaza, Star Alliance Global Brand Lighting Center, Lighting Era Center, Guzhen Chang'an Lighting Parts & Electronic City, Caosan International Lighting Parts City, Guyi Ruifeng International Lighting Fittings City and Guyi Qingfeng LED Lighting Trading City. They are all well decorated with lighting fixtures and will carry out promotional activities during the event. Shuttle bus service is available between the main and sub venues.

Twenty-one projects, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, were signed at the opening ceremony. They are expected to achieve a total output value of 2 billion yuan per year and lead to a 3-billion-yuan output value from upstream and downstream industries.
