Baishi Village is built against the mountains. This small village with an area of only 16.3 square kilometers has 23 existing watchtowers, the largest number of existing watchtowers in Sanxiang Town. In the "Battle of Baishi", the Pearl River Army unit used these watchtowers to defend themselves and buy precious time, so that Baishi villagers and their properties could be evacuated smoothly.

Through the changes of the times, some of these watchtowers made of white stones and built from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republican Period have disappeared. What has been preserved to this day is not only a microcosm of Lingnan culture and the culture of Overseas Chinese in Zhongshan, but also a historical treasure for contemporary young students to learn about Chinese culture.

In July this year, Baishihuan Primary School in Sanxiang Town and others jointly sponsored the "Love My Hometown" 2020 Parent-Child Research Summer Camp  promoting a civilized and sanitary city. They led children and parents to visit local Red Culture Bases such as the Baishi Watchtowers Anti-Japanese War Headquarters to help children and parents remember the patriotic spirit.

In addition, Baishihuan Primary School, for five consecutive years, has opened compulsory courses for students to visit the watchtowers and learn the history, so that they can remember the revolutionary history of China.

Next, Baishi Village plans to develop a tourism route that integrates such elements as watchtowers and other sightseeing attractions, Party building and folk customs in the village.
