March is a busy time for He Meilan, a farmer in Langwang Village, Minzhong District. On her family farm, Taiwanese mulberries are ripening. Currently, the yield per mu (about 666.7 square meters) in this farm can reach 1,800 to 2,400 kg, and the farm attracts many tourists during festivals and holidays.

In recent years, the leisure agriculture industry in Zhongshan has experienced rapid development and gradually began to naturally innovate and further develop. As fusion bodies of integrated development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries, the varied farms have gradually become major highlights in the process of rural revitalization.

In Baiqi Village, Nanlang District, there is a farm for parent-child study activities that has been in operation for five years. The founder "Mrs Leek" introduced her feeling of nature's deep importance to children's growth from the process of raising her own children. Encouraged by her relatives and friends, she rented a piece of farmland and built the farm covering nature education, parent-child cxperience activities, agricultural science education, safety education and quality-oriented education.

With further advancement in rural revitalization, more and more urban residents have sought to return to nature, experience folk customs, and feel the farming culture. Thanks to increasing market demands and interest in agricultural science and technology, there will be more dedicated, smart and enthusiastic new-type farmers in Zhongshan.
